Synopsis
“Plan b” is a new weekly documentary series, which will be broadcast from October 2017. The films want to examine possible solutions for social problems in Germany. Do other European countries have better or more innovative solutions to similar problems? Can Germany learn from them?
“Plan B” wants to deal with issues critically and constructively. Stories of the success are intended to show how changes are being made and what policy changes as well as committed citizens can achieve when they act collectively. For each possible solution, the series also considers the “risks and side effects” and asks whether the alternatives, which are tested in one place, can also function elsewhere.
