Double Winner!

Our bees are still very busy!

At the Filmfestival NATURVISION 2015 in Ludwigsburg our international animal film production “Secrets of the Hive” was awarded the “German Film Prize Biodiversity” and the “NaturVision Prize of the Youth Jury”. We are honored and thank everyone involved.

The documentation is a coproduction between taglicht media, Terra Mater and the Smithsonian Channel.

The film accompanies scientists in Panama, Mexico, the USA and Austria in their search for solutions The “Pollution Crisis” – either by strengthening our honeybee or by finding alternative pollinators.

Justification for the German Film Prize Biodiversity:
“The filmmakers succeed in a great way to tell us a lot about these incredible insects, and to take us with wonderful pictures and slow-down pictures into the world not only of our honeybee, but thousands of different wild bees, of which we had not known it gives it. A movie that amazes us about our world and its incredible biodiversity, but also about this creatures, the tiny bumble bees with transmitters to count and explore. ”

NaturVision Prize of the Youth Jury: “One of our goals is to present sustainable development through informative actions for young people. That is why we decided to make a film that has done this well for us. “Bees – A World in Change” tells of 20,000 different species of bees. A biodiversity that encourages young people to wonder and with honeyy pictures clearly confronts us with the challenges we face. Young people are curious and this film has shown us what to discover in the scientific world. “
