Grand premiere of ‘Charlemagne’ in Aachen

On April 15, the world premiere of our docudrama “Charlemagne” takes place in Aachen. At the event, for which there are unfortunately no more tickets, the two leading actors Alexander Wüst (Karl der Große) and Peter Matic (Einhard) will be present alongside the director Gabriele Wengler.

On the day after the world premiere, the Aachen cinemas will be screening the gripping film all day long. “Charlemagne” will then be shown around the clock in all the rooms. “If we can make 10,000 viewers see the same film in a cinema in a single day, then this is probably an entry in the Guinness Book of Records,” says Leo Stürz, owner of the cinema.

After the world premiere in Aachen, the film will once again be shown at the Forum NRW in Cologne on April 18, before it will be shown on television. Arte opens the TV show with a three-hour triple feature on Saturday, April 20, during prime time. ARD follows with a 90 minute version of the film on May 1. And on May 9, Servus TV presents “Karl the Great” in a two-hour version.
