‘Killer in the Caves’ selected by Jackson Hole

The world’s most renowned wildlife film festival Jackson Hole has selected “Killer In The Caves” for its competition. Our film is shown in the “Best Nature and Science Program” category and was able to win over 800 submissions.

For the twelfth time, the largest Wildlife Film Festival takes place in the Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming, USA. From 23.-27. In September 2013 filmmakers from around the world compete for the Grand Teton Awards, the animal film equivalent to the Oscars.

“Killer In The Caves” shows the greatest killing in the history of North America, because millions of bats die in the US. The consequences for agriculture and the entire ecosystem are unpredictable and scientists are desperately trying to stop the enigmatic epidemic. Their pioneering methods and state-of-the-art camera technology allow a new look at this often demonized animal, which is still quite unknown to science despite its central role in the ecosystem.

We are very excited about the nomination at the Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival and we are keeping our fingers crossed by our producer and author, Dennis Wells.
