Synopsis
This five-part series evolves around crimes and criminal cases of antiquity ranging from common murder, to raids, arson, cannibalism, assassinations, high treason, and terrorism. We investigate the cases using modern forensics, elaborate CGI and experimental archeology.
Each episode presents both known and unknown crimes. Even if crimes from Greco-Roman antiquity dominate, we deliberately do not restrict our choices and look beyond the horizon – to the Egyptians and Persians, to the Gauls and Teutons, and also to America and China.
The series offers everything that a younger audience expects: fascinating crime, a modern visual narrative and exciting archaeological experiments that bring us antiquity in a playful, and not very serious way.
