“Made in Germany”. Not cars, steel, high-tech or bread are products that have made Germany famous worldwide, but especially: German BEER.
The fame of German beer is connected with the colonial history of Germany as well as with the story of German emigrants, who continued to brew beer after the German purity law all over the world. Today, beer is on almost everybody’s tip of the tongue, it is simply one of the most popular beverages in the world.
The film tells the global history of beer and its brewing tradition that reaching back to the ancient Egypt.
